I’ve been teaching horn for over 15 years and maintain an online private studio of high school, young professional, and adult amateur students.
My private lessons are fun, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s goals. I want you to meet your goals on the horn, whatever they might be!

I have a few more to add (as parents often do). I am so thankful every lesson that Dr. Homes was recommended to us for French horn lessons for my daughter. I sit in on her lessons and am constantly amazed by her progress. Her sound, articulation, and most importantly, her confidence have improved exponentially under Dr. Holmes’s teaching. He uses humor and a philosophy that mistakes are a part of learning to make her feel comfortable when she struggles. He also supports the mental side of practice/performance and constantly assures my daughter she can do hard things when she’s nervous or trying something new.
